How can I pay for my purchase?

You can refer to the Payment section of our How to Buy page to understand your payment options. The easiest and most reliable payment method for international buyers is a wire transfer.

What is included in the final price for the lot? What are Copart’s fees?

Once you have won a vehicle/ lot an invoice will be generated. Your invoice will include:

• Sale price (the price at which the lot was sold)

• Taxes (this rate will vary depending on the province in which the vehicle was purchased)

• Auction fees (these may include live auction fee, processing fee, storage fees, etc.)

*You may also have additional fees from your bank when making payments by wire transfer.

How do I get a deposit refund if I paid using a wire transfer?

We will refund international buyers via Wire Transfer and will only send the funds back to the original sender.

There is a $30 bank transfer fee that will be applied (this is deducted from the funds at the time of the wire)

To process the wire transfer we will need the following information: Bank Name, Bank Address, Account Number, Name on Account, Swift Code.

To request a deposit refund, you will need to first sign in to your account, then click on ‘Deposit Refund’ on the Account Information page.

What are the options for international shipping? How much does it cost?

At this time Copart does not offer international shipping services. Buyers may arrange international shipping for their purchases through any shipping company of their choice or through one of our Copart authorized representatives in or near your country.
