For international buyers the most reliable payment method is a wire transfer. Wire transfers are typically received within 3 days (including the auction date). It is recommended that international buyers send funds in advance in order to avoid a late payment fee ($50 per vehicle).

Buyers should follow the following 2-step payment process carefully in order to ensure that the funds are located and applied to the intended invoices in a timely manner:

  • Members should first read the wire transfer instructions. These instructions will help you to send the wire transfer. When sending your wire transfer, please note what you are paying for (deposit, upgrade amount, annual fee, lot #s etc), this will help our team to correctly apply your funds once they are received.

  • Once you have sent your wire transfer, it is essential that you then send a wire transfer notification form to Canada.wirepayments@copart.com. Please note that the payment will ONLY be applied to your account when we have received a wire transfer notification from you.
