How to Find Vehicles on Copart.ca:

Searching for vehicles is easy and quick on Copart.ca. We have several features to help make your searches convenient and efficient

Search Toolbar:

Our Search Toolbar is the simplest way to start searching for vehicles on Copart.ca. Get started by entering a Lot number, vehicle description or VIN in the toolbar at the top of the page.

Vehicle Finder:

Our Vehicle Finder gives Members the ability to search our inventory by selecting a variety of pre-defined categories:

• Featured Items

• Popular Makes

• Vehicle Types

• Ownership Document Type

• Source

• Damage

On the right side of the vehicle finder page, you can customize your vehicle search by searching any combination of year, make, model and location. You will also see search boxes for VIN and Lot Number on the right side of the page.

Search Results:

Once on the Search Results page, you can further refine your search results by utilizing the filters on the left-hand side. You can also sort your searches to suit your preference by clicking on the column titles. You can also join the auction directly from this page.

When you are looking at search results, buyers who plan to export vehicles are responsible to research any export restrictions based on ownership type as well as import restrictions of the country they plan to ship to prior to bidding on vehicles. Currently, Copart does not facilitate international shipping or vehicle delivery outside of our location’s radius. Members are responsible for ensuring they have a way to pick up/ship the vehicle prior to bidding on the vehicle.

Sale List:

You can view a location’s Sales List including current, next, and future auction dates. When you view a Sales List, you will be able to sort and filter the results as you would for a normal search.

Watchlist:

Want to keep an eye on the vehicles that you are interested in? You can add these vehicles to your Watchlist. This will allow you to monitor vehicles and keep track of the sale date, lot number, and current bid before the live auction begins, When you find a vehicle that interests you, click the Watch button in the second column on its search results listing or at the top right on its vehicle information page.

You can set up email and text alerts to let you know when the vehicle is coming up in a live online auction.

Saved Searches:

Do you search the same terms repeatedly? Simply click the Save Search button at the top of any search results page to save that search criteria for quick access later. When you are ready to access those searches go to your Saved Searchesand quickly run any of the searches you’ve saved.

Vehicle Alerts:

If you’re looking for a specific vehicle type, make, model and/or year, you can set up a Vehicle Alert and we’ll notify you when a vehicle that matches your search becomes available for auction on Copart. You can change the alert frequency to suit your needs to daily or weekly alerts. You may also create as many alerts as you’d like and can cancel them at any time.

Copart Mobile App:

These search tools are also available on our Copart Mobile app. Open the app on your smartphone or tablet, log in, and search for the vehicles then add them to your saved searches, watchlists or access lists you’ve already saved. Any saved searches and watchlists created on the mobile app will be linked to your account which means you will also have access to them when you log in to your account on a desktop computer.

CSV Sales Data:

For Members who prefer to view their inventory in spreadsheet format we provide CSV Sales Data lists for vehicles in any of our upcoming auctions. This feature is only offered on our website and is not accessible on the mobile app. This is a great way to organize vehicle information by Lot Number, auction time, location and more.
