About Brokers
While browsing vehicles you will likely find quite a few that you want to start placing bids on. However you may find that there are some that require specific licenses to buy that you may not have. In cases where you don't have the licenses you need on file to bid with Copart, a Broker may be able to help. Brokers use their licenses to buy vehicles on behalf of their clients, allowing people to purchase vehicles they want even if they, themselves, don't have the licenses required. Please remember that when you use a Broker, this is a third-party agreement and you are buying the vehicle from the Broker and not Copart. As such, Copart will not be able to assist in dispute resolution with brokers. To help protect yourself, please be sure to read and understand the Broker's terms and conditions including payment, pick-up and ownership transfer.
Important Note: It is easiest to find the vehicles that you are interested in before contacting your broker of choice. Not all Brokers are able to purchase vehicles in every province/ state – or every vehicle type. Please also noted that at this time we do not have any Brokers whose head office is located in Canada, that being said some US-based brokers are able to assist with Canadian purchases.
