What are the differences between Basic and Premier Memberships?

Basic Memberships are best for:

Members who are purchasing a single vehicle

Basic Members can only bid on one car at a time without a deposit and only five cars at a time with a deposit. With no deposit, Buying Power is limited to $1,200, which means that you can only bid on one vehicle up to $1,200. If you plan to bid higher, you would need to have on file a deposit that is 10% of the maximum amount you’re willing to pay for the vehicle. For example, a $3,500 bid would require a deposit of $350. If you plan to bid during the live online auction, you would need to plan ahead and put down this deposit prior to the start of the auction so you don’t miss out on any critical bids.

Premier Memberships are best for:

  • Members who plan to purchase more than one vehicle
  • Members who want to bid on more than one vehicle at a time
  • Members who want to avoid the time and hassle of adding a deposit each time their bidding limit is reached

With Premier Membership you can bid on as many cars as your business licenses on file allows (up to $100K bid limit per day unless additional approvals are granted by Regional or General Managers).

How much does a Premier Membership cost?

To upgrade to a Premier Membership you will need to add a one-time, fully refundable $400 CAD** deposit and will also need to pay a $265 CAD** (non-refundable) annual Registration fee.

**Members who are not residents of Canada will be treated as international members and will be charged these fees in USD ($400 USD deposit + $200 USD annual fee).
