Required Documents

Walk through how to enter your required documents which make you eligible for bidding in our auto online auctions.

Now that you’ve selected your Membership and entered your payment information, you’ll need to submit a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, resident card or passport.

This is an essential step toward determining your bidding eligibility. If you’re a business, you’ll also need to provide any business licenses you may have, as well as submit the Multi-State Exemption Form and the Affidavit for Purchase form located on the Help With Licensing page.

Want to become a Copart Member? The Join Copart section provides vital information about creating an account and the benefits of a Copart membership.

Simply click Attach Files to upload each document separately. You’ll need to select the correct document type, country and state, as well as supply a license number and expiration date (if applicable).

Once all your documents are attached, simply click Submit to finish your registration. You’ll be able to start bidding in one to two days, once our Member Services team approves your licenses.

If there are any issues with your documents, we’ll reach out to you via email and ask you to resubmit them before you jump into an auction.
