Changing the Copart Mobile App Settings

Using the new Copart Mobile App is easy. We've even built in a few added features to help make searching and bidding even easier.

To get started, tap the button with the three-bar symbol at the upper left of the Copart app home screen on both your iPad and iPhone. This will take you to the secondary navigation menu in the app. The navigation menu appears on the left side of your screen on the iPad. Here, you will find more information about your bidding history, including lots won or lost. You'll also be able to sign in, register or change your settings.

First, take a look at your settings to make sure everything is tailored to your needs. You'll see three categories to choose from – general, notifications and vehicle source and language.

Let's start with general settings. Tap on General. You'll see a menu of settings. You can change your zip code, the search radius or time zone. You can even send us feedback right from the app.

If you're using an iPhone, tap the back button in the top navigation bar to return to the main settings menu and choose another category of settings either notifications or vehicle source and language. On the iPad, the settings menu remains on the left of your screen.

When you've finished editing your settings, just tap the home button in the upper left of the top navigation bar.

Now that your settings are updated, let's take a look at the lots you won, lost and bid on. You must be signed in to go to these screen options. Once signed in, again tap the button with the three-bar symbol.

The first item is My Lots Won. Here, you can see all the Lots you've won in an auction previously. Once you select a lot to view, the lot details have a button that directs you to the Copart website to pay for your lot won.

The next menu item is My Lots Lost where you can view all the Lots that you lost in pre-bidding or in a live auction.

View all the Lots you've been on by tapping on My Bids. You can see items that you have bid on, items you are winning and items you have been outbid on. You can also see counter bids from sellers and increase your bid amount or accept counter and stay on seller counter bids.
