Copart's auction sounds give Members the experience of being in a real auction, with the convenience of bidding online.The auction sounds are helpful when there are multiple auctions going on at one time as there are specific sounds for different stages and actions taken during the auction.

Copart Auctions are now even more exciting with the addition of new live auction sounds. When members join a live auction, they will be greeted with a multitude of auction sounds that will not only help to navigate through the auction but also enhance the bidding and buying experience. Continue watching to learn more about these new sounds.
Get ready! When the auction starts, you will hear, “Auction starting.” When a vehicle on your watch list is up next, you will be alerted by this: “Your watch item is next on the block.” You will hear this [*buzzer noise*] to let you know a new car is up on the block and the auction timer has started to countdown.
Look out! You will hear this hot lot sound (“This is a hot lot!”) when a lot receives numerous live bids. This: [*ring noise*], will let you know once you place a bid, and when someone else places a bid, you’ll be notified with this: [*alert*]. When you or someone else places a monster bid, you will hear: [*drop sound*]
Listen for [*clock ticking*] to make sure you do not miss a chance to bid before the time runs out. Needing more time? “Bonus time” will let you know when additional bidding time has been given for a vehicle.
Keep on bidding. When you no longer have the highest bid on a lot, you’ll be notified with this sound: “Sold.” The “sold” sound, “Sold,” will let you know when a vehicle you have a bid on has been sold to someone else.
Congratulations! You will hear: [*applause*], when you are the highest bidder when the timer ends. However, this (“Sold on approval”) is the sound you will hear when a lot with a status on approval is sold. Better luck next time! When you are not the highest bidder when the time ends, you will hear this: [*crowd sound*]. When a lane on the auction dashboard ends, you will be alerted with this sound: “End of auction.”
