Hi! I'm Jay Adair, CEO of Copart.
Let me tell you a little bit about our company. We have an amazing business that sells over two million vehicles annually around the world to customers in over a hundred countries. We have locations in Brazil, Dubai, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Canada and, of course, in the U.S. We sell vehicles for insurance companies, banks, rental car companies, charities and even the general public. On the buy side, we're selling vehicles to recyclers who will sell parts off the car and eventually recycle everything on the vehicle, rebuilders who will fix the vehicle or exporters who will export the vehicle.
A little fun fact, we actually export about 25 percent of the product that we sell in the markets that we do business. At Copart, we sell vehicles online for our customers. 100 percent of the bidding over four billion dollars a year all online, making us one of the largest online sellers, and we do it all through our patented virtual bidding third generation technology or, as we like to call it, VB3.
So, while it's exciting to say that we have over 165 locations, over 8,000 acres, over two million vehicles sold annually and over $4 billion worth of product sold online all through patented technology, what I really get excited to talk about is our culture. Copart’s culture is about having fun, being committed to each other and thinking like owners, and the people that work for Copart are the best in the world at what they do.
