Who Sets Licensing Requirements?

The licensing requirements are regulated by provincial laws, not by Copart. These laws are strictly monitored by the Canadian government. At Copart, we are working to make the route to buying vehicles easier for public buyers by offering them services that allow for them to bid on vehicles. Buyers without business licenses are able to bid freely on No License Required inventory while on the alternative, Brokers are able to help those buyers buy vehicles they wouldn’t otherwise be able to bid on if they don’t have the correct license.
