International Shipping Information

Exporting your vehicles from Canada can be simple

Copart has authorized representatives in markets worldwide! An Authorized Representative can help international members find the vehicle they’re looking for, assist in bidding and assist with shipping the vehicle. You can find a representative here.

Shipping Vendors

No Copart Authorized Representatives in your area?

Not a Problem! Feel free to search for an independent shipping company. We have provided more information on how to choose an independent shipping vendor below.

**Please note: Currently Copart cannot assist with the shipment of vehicles across the US and Canada border. You will need to find a third-party shipping vendor for assistance with this.**

Buyers may arrange international shipping using a third-party shipping vendor of their choice.

Please find below instructions on how to arrange shipping:

  1. Please ensure that the vehicle is paid in FULL.  Remember, when paying by wire transfer you will need to ensure that you send the wire transfer notification form to Canada.wirepayments@copart.com
  2. Search for the shipping company of your choice. The company of your choice will be able to provide you with a quote and answer all questions related to shipping. Which shipping company you choose is up to you.
  3. Be sure that you have filled out, signed and uploaded a Power of Attorney (PoA) from to your account.
    • In Canada the Notarized POA form is not required (a POA without notary is sufficient)
    • Please visit Copart.com for more information on which stated require notarized POAs
    Please note that the uploaded PoA will apply to ALL applicable purchases in the future.
  4. When the lot is paid in full and the PoA document is uploaded to your account, all vehicles that are paid in full are then eligible to be picked up, additionally the ownership documents are released with the vehicle. Please provide your shipping company with the member number and lot #, they will need this information when they come to pick up the vehicle from the yard.
